We offer fresh seasonable produce!

The Farm Stand is CLOSED for the 2023 season.

The Porch is open, you may shop the porch, located at 1700 Walker Rd. Freeland, MD, everyday from 8am to 7pm. Porch is self serve, honor system, cash and Venmo only.

During our growing  season we try to bring you a variety of clean, wholesome, nutritious and fresh vegetables. We have a tunnel (an unheated greenhouse) that we use in order to try to extend our growing season. Early spring will bring lots of fresh leafy greens, broccoli, cabbage, radishes and hopefully some early peas, just to name a few. As the sun warms the soil and gives us longer days the variety of veggies we have will increase and finally around late July everyone's favorites corn and tomatoes! Fall will bring potatoes, sweet and white with more greens, winter squashes and hopefully another round of broccoli and cabbage again just to name a few. We want you to be able to enjoy the full flavor of fresh picked produce. Plus you will find it will hold a bit longer for you too.

If you sign up for our newsletter we'll email you to let you know what's fresh online or what we're harvesting for Thursdays at the farm stand. We will only be at the stand this year on Thursdays, but will hopefully still have produce through the week on the porch. With only one set of hands doing the work it’s hard to be at the stand and in the fields at the same time.

We also grow our own berries: strawberries, pineberries, red and black raspberries, hopefully some blackberries, we'll see how the crop is this year. All our berries are grown like our veggies, no pesticides, no fungicides and no chemical fertilizers.

As a convenience to our customers I do bring in peaches and apples from a local orchard. I will let you know when I have to bring in berries from the same local orchard if mine don’t produce enough. The fruits that I bring in are not organic or chemical free so you will be informed of anything brought in. I am also offering eggs from Love Sown Family Farms, Glen Rock and Beck Family Farm, Freeland.

When we are not open on the corner we offer our fresh veggies on the Porch, which is open for self serve, honor system shopping Monday through Sunday when the Farm Stand closes for the season 8 am to 7 pm. Signing up for our What’s In Report, an emailed list of availability is the easiest way to know what’s available on the porch and/or at the stand.
