Our Produce

We grow our produce without any chemicals. Our mission is to provide clean food, so we don't spray our plants with any pesticides or herbicides, we use no chemical fertilizers. We keep our soil healthy with crop rotation, compost, using cover crops and beneficial nematodes and microbes to strengthen our plants natural defenses. Plus we rely on beneficial insects to help keep garden pests at bay. Sometimes you will see some insect damage on our leaves, we can't keep them all away. We're diligently working to keep our soil healthy and nutrient rich so that the produce we offer is nutrient dense for you. Our produce is picked fresh, typically the day before we offer it to our community. Our corn is usually picked the morning our stand is open. By offering our produce as fresh picked as possible it ensures you get to enjoy the best flavor and nutrients our food offers. You will notice that our produce will last longer since it is coming to you fresh.

 You will also find corn caterpillars in our corn, we just cut that spot out and eat the rest.  Our heirloom tomatoes may not be the prettiest, but the flavor is well worth overlooking their appearance.
